Turquoise House North -
We stayed at Turquoise North at Scottsdale and I think we found the high watermark as far as vacation rental. The owners have gone to such incredible lengths to make us feel at home. The property is in a very nice neighborhood in Scottsdale about 5 minutes from Scottsdale Road. Close to many many types of shopping (a Sprouts grocery store is only 4 minutes away and we found ourselves going there to stock our kitchen with comforts of home). One small such detail that says it all was USB charging cables in the side dresser of the bedroom i was staying in. A small detail that was really amazing and thoughtful. The family room had a huge 65" flat screen with soundbar and they had cox cable all hooked up. The kitchen was well stocked with just about every kind of plate, dish or accouterments you would need to whip up something delicious. They even had a le creuset like dutch oven. I also appreciate that the house has a very open floor plan so the kitchen and the family room and living room are connected making for a great communal space. The backyard has a beautiful pool and even a grapefruit tree: we ate them for breakfast. The WiFi was a great speed which made browsing the web a breeze. They also included a pair of these really cool wireless Bluetooth speakers which paired very easily with my iPhone and made for great music playing in the house or in the backyard. The neighborhood was very quiet and I felt comfortable and at home right away. I highly recommend giving Turquoise North a try next time you are in Scottsdale. You will be glad you did.
